DBS must1 include in the register of countersignatories2 any person who:
(1) applies to it in writing to be registered3;
(2) is either:
(a) a body corporate or unincorporate4;
(b) a person who is appointed to an office by virtue of any enactment and who, in the case of an individual, is aged 18 or over5; or
(c) an individual aged 18 or over who employs others in the course of a business6;
(3) satisfies DBS that it is likely to ask exempted questions7 or is likely to act as the registered person8 in relation to applications9 for criminal
