The functions1 of the Director of Public Prosecutions2 and the Director of the Serious Fraud Office are exercisable under the superintendence of the Attorney General3 and may be delegated4. Those functions are:
(1) to have the conduct of applications for serious crime prevention orders5 in England and Wales or for their variation or discharge6;
(2) to appear on any application made7 by another person for the variation or discharge of a serious crime prevention order in England and Wales8;
