A football banning order (or banning order) is an order made by the court1 which:
(1) in relation to regulated football matches in the United Kingdom2, prohibits the person who is subject to the order from entering any premises for the purpose of attending such matches3; and
(2) in relation to regulated football matches outside the United Kingdom, requires that person to report4 at a police station5.
'Regulated football match' means an association football match6 (whether in the United Kingdom or elsewhere) in which one or both of the participating teams represents:
(a) a club which is for the time
