Where a person is convicted of an offence for which the court imposes a custodial sentence1 and orders the person to be disqualified2 for holding or obtaining a driving licence3 the disqualification order4 must provide for the person to be disqualified for the appropriate extension period5 in addition to the discretionary disqualification period6. These provisions do not apply where the custodial sentence was a suspended sentence7, where the court has made an order8 for determining the minimum term in relation to a mandatory life sentence in relation to the custodial sentence9, or where the court has made an order10
