An individual is guilty of an offence if a TPIM notice1 is in force in relation to him2 and he contravenes3, without reasonable excuse4, any measure specified in it5. An individual guilty of such an offence is liable on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years (10 years where a travel measure is contravened) or to a fine, or to both6, and on summary conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months
