Until a day to be appointed1 'electronic monitoring requirement', in relation to a community order or suspended sentence order2, means a requirement for securing the electronic monitoring of the offender's compliance with other requirements imposed by the order during a period specified in the order, or determined by the responsible officer3 in accordance with the relevant order4. As from that day, it means a requirement to submit to either or both of:
(1) electronic monitoring of compliance with requirements as described above5; and
(2) electronic monitoring of the offender's whereabouts (otherwise than for the purpose of monitoring the offender's
