A criminal behaviour order1 takes effect on the day it is made2. The order must specify the period for which it has effect3, which:
(1) in the case of an order made before the offender has reached the age of 18, must be a fixed period of not less than one year4 and not more than three years5; and
(2) in the case of an order made after the offender has reached the age of 18, must be a fixed period of not less than two years
