743. Drug testing requirements for monitoring compliance with conditions following release on licence.

In circumstances where:

  1.  

    (1)     the Secretary of State1 releases2 from prison3 a person aged 18 or over on whom a sentence of imprisonment4 has been imposed5;

  2.  

    (2)     the release is subject to conditions (whether conditions of a licence or any other conditions, however expressed)6; and

  3.  

    (3)     the Secretary of State is satisfied that the misuse by the person of a specified class A drug or a specified class B drug7 caused or contributed to an offence of which he has been convicted or is likely to cause or contribute to the commission of further offences by him8, and that
