Where an applicant1 for a criminal record certificate2, an enhanced criminal record certificate3 or a criminal conviction certificate4 believes that the information contained in the certificate5 is inaccurate, he may make an application in writing to DBS6 for a new certificate7. Where a person other than the applicant believes that the information contained in such a certificate is inaccurate he may make an application in writing to DBS for a decision as to whether or not the information is inaccurate
