Where during the rehabilitation period1 applicable to a conviction2:
(1) the person convicted is convicted of a further offence3; and
(2) no sentence4 excluded from rehabilitation5 is imposed on him in respect of the later conviction6,
if the rehabilitation period applicable7 to either of the convictions would end earlier than the period so applicable in relation to the other, the rehabilitation period which would8 end the earlier is extended so as to end at the same time as the other rehabilitation period9.
