416. Circumstances in which a DVPO will be made.

The court may1 make a DVPO2 if it is satisfied on the balance of probabilities that the grounds on which the DVPN was issued3 exist4, and may make a DVPO in circumstances where the person for whose protection it is made does not consent to its making5. Before making a DVPO, the court must, in particular, consider the welfare of any person under the age of 18 whose interests the court considers relevant to the making of the DVPO (whether or not that person is an associated person)6, and any opinion of which the court is made aware of
