The rehabilitation period1 applicable in respect of a sentence2 passed on an adult offender is the period beginning with the date of the conviction3 in respect of which the sentence is imposed and ending:
(1) in the case of a custodial sentence4 of more than 30 months and up to, or consisting of, 48 months, the end of the period of seven years beginning with the day on which the sentence (including any licence period) is completed5;
(2) in the case of a custodial sentence of more than six months and up to, or consisting of, 30 months, the
