580. Race, colour and language.

The European Court of Human Rights has found that there has been discrimination on the grounds of race and/or colour1 in connection with:

  1.  

    (1)     legislation regulating immigration and nationality2;

  2.  

    (2)     a state's failure to investigate a killing which had been accompanied by racist language3;

  3.  

    (3)     the ill-treatment of a detained person
