The dissolution of an association or political party is an interference with Article 111 that must be justified, and the European Court of Human Rights has held that a ban on the founders and managers of an association from holding a similar office in any other association also clearly amounts to a restriction under Article 112. Where the dissolution of a political party results in individuals losing their status as members of parliament, the Court is likely to consider their complaints under the right to free elections guarantee
