Chattels settled to devolve with settled land or with a title of honour1 may be sold by the tenant for life, on obtaining a court order, irrespective of the date of the settlement2. Chattels settled without reference to settled land, on trusts creating entailed interests in them, may be sold by the trustees with the consent of the usufructuary for the time being if of full age
