Where the Secretary of State1 makes any payment of unpaid contributions2 into the resources3 of an occupational pension scheme4 or a personal pension scheme5 in respect of any contributions to the scheme, any rights and remedies in respect of those contributions belonging to the persons competent to act in respect of the scheme must, on the making of the payment, become rights and remedies of the Secretary of State6.
