The trustees or managers1 of an occupational pension scheme2 must secure that the scheme complies with any prescribed3 restrictions with respect to the proportion of its resources4 that may at any time be invested in, or in any description of, employer-related investments5.
The prescribed restrictions are that, subject to certain exceptions6, not more than five per cent of the current market value of the resources of a scheme may at any time be invested in employer-related investments7 and none of the resources of a scheme may at any time be invested in any employer-related loan8.
