480.     Regulator's functions.

The Pensions Regulator1 has: (1) the functions transferred to it from the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority2 by virtue of the Pensions Act 2004 or any provisions in force in Northern Ireland corresponding to the Pensions Act 2004; and (2) any other functions conferred by, or by virtue of, the Pensions Act 2004 or any other enactment3.

The Regulator has functions in relation to pension liberation4, financial regulation involving the making of freezing orders5, restoration orders6, debt avoidance orders7 and the giving of contribution
