Regulations1 must make provision: (1) for a reviewable matter2 to be referred to the PPF Ombudsman3 following a reconsideration decision4; and (2) for the PPF Ombudsman to investigate and determine what (if any) is the appropriate action for the Board of the Pension Protection Fund5 to take in relation to the matter, and to remit the matter to the Board with directions for the purpose of giving effect to his determination6.
