The Public Service Pensions Act 2013 confers powers1 on the appropriate responsible authorities to make regulations establishing schemes for the payment of pensions and other benefits to civil servants2, the judiciary3, local government workers4, teachers5, health service workers6, fire and rescue workers7, members of police forces8 and the armed forces9. Specified provisions10 apply to a new public body pension scheme (and any statutory pension scheme that is connected with it), as to a scheme under the above powers11 (and any connected scheme)
