Subject to the provisions of Part III of the Pension Schemes Act 19931, the scheme must:
(1) provide2 for the earner to be entitled to a pension under the scheme if he attains pensionable age3; and
(2) contain a rule to the effect that the weekly rate of the pension will be not less than his guaranteed minimum4 (if any)5.
