A jobholder1 who is not an active member2 of a qualifying scheme3 may by notice require the employer4 to arrange for the jobholder to become an active member of an automatic enrolment scheme5. This does not apply at a time when arrangements are required to be made for automatic enrolment6 or automatic re-enrolment7 in respect of the jobholder8, nor does it apply where a worker has received a specified winding-up lump9 sum in the last 12 months10.
