(5)     Reduction in Social Security Benefits for Members of Schemes that were Contracted-out

(i)     In General

446.     Introduction.

Provision has been made for the purpose:

  1.  

    (1)     of providing for contributions to be paid by the Commissioners for Revenue and Customs1 in respect of earners2 who are members3 of money purchase contracted-out schemes4 and members of appropriate personal pension schemes5; and

  2.  

    (2)     of making provision concerning the payment of certain social security benefits payable in respect of members and former members of schemes that were contracted-out schemes6.
