A scheme that was salary-related contracted-out scheme1 must, in relation to any earner's2 service before the principal appointed day3, comply with any requirements prescribed4 for the purpose of securing that:
(1) the Commissioners for Revenue and Customs are kept informed about any matters affecting the security of the minimum pensions guaranteed5 under the scheme6; and
(2) the resources7 of the scheme are brought to and are maintained at a level satisfactory to the Commissioners for Revenue and Customs8.
