The provisions for automatic enrolment1 apply to a jobholder2: (1) who is aged at least 22; (2) who has not reached pensionable age3; and (3) to whom earnings4 of more than £10,000 are payable by the employer in the relevant pay reference period5. The employer6 must make prescribed7 arrangements by which the jobholder becomes an active member8 of an automatic enrolment scheme9 with effect from the automatic enrolment date10.
