845. Petition to remove attainder or other disqualification.

Where a peerage is affected by attainder or other disqualification, a petition to the Crown claiming the peerage, or praying for the termination of an abeyance1 in the peerage, should refer to the disqualification and contain a prayer that, if it appears that such a disqualification exists, Her Majesty will be pleased to order that a Bill be introduced into Parliament for removal of the disqualification2.
