822.     Entitlement of life peers to sit and vote in the House of Lords.

Life peers are entitled to receive writs of summons to attend the House of Lords and sit and vote accordingly1. This does not, however, entitle a person to receive a writ of summons to attend the House of Lords, or to sit and vote in that House, at any time when disqualified by law2.
