760. The court.

(ii)     The Court and Appeal Tribunal

760.     The court.

In the Registered Designs Act 1949, court means the High Court1, which means in practice that references and applications under the Act are heard by the Patents Court2 or the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court3. A claim for infringement is not a reference or application for this purpose, but must also be heard by the Patents Court or the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court4.
