Many of the time limits prescribed for the purposes of patents1 may not be extended2. Other time limits3 may be extended by the comptroller4, if he thinks fit5, for a period of two months where the request is made upon the prescribed form6, no previous request has been made and the request is filed before the end of the period of two months beginning immediately after the date on which the relevant period of time expired7. The comptroller may, if he thinks fit, extend or further extend any such period of time8
