It is unlawful for a firm, in relation to a position as partner in the firm, to discriminate against any person because of a protected characteristic1, namely on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation2.
