160.     Jurisdiction to appoint a receiver or manager.

The court may by order, whether interim or final, appoint a receiver1 in all cases in which it appears to the court to be just and convenient to do so2, on the application of any partner, whether claimant or defendant3, or of other persons interested in the preservation of the partnership assets, such as the personal representatives of a deceased partner4, especially where the surviving partner fails to get in the assets5.
