Specified provisions of the Companies Act 1985 relating to the investigation of companies and their affairs1 apply to limited liability partnerships ('LLPs')2, except where the context otherwise requires, with the following modifications as to terminology3:
(1) references to a company include references to a limited liability partnership4;
(2) references to the Insolvency Act 1986 include references to that Act as it applies to limited liability partnerships5;
(3) references in a provision of the Companies Act 1985 to other provisions of that Act or provisions of the Companies Act 2006 include references to those other provisions as they apply to
