An alien1 who is not an enemy may enter into and carry out a contract of partnership in England and Wales with another such alien or with a British national2. An alien enemy3 is incapable of entering into a contract of partnership4. If an alien is a partner when he becomes an alien enemy, the partnership is forthwith dissolved5. He does not, however, forfeit his rights after dissolution either to his partner or partners or to the Crown, but his ability to enforce these rights is suspended as long as he remains an alien enemy
