Disability assistance may be claimed by any member for necessary additional expenditure incurred in the performance of parliamentary functions which is reasonably attributable to a disability of a member, a staff member, or constituents visiting the office or surgery1. It may also be claimed for any reasonable adjustments required by the Equality Act 20102.
Security assistance may be claimed for additional security measures that are necessary to enable the member's parliamentary functions to be undertaken, beyond those available from the House of Commons
