The Secretary of State and the Welsh Ministers1, must make arrangements2 for the surveillance of the conservation status of natural habitat types of Community interest and species of Community interest, and in particular priority natural habitat types and priority species3.
The Secretary of State must from time to time:
(1) consult the Welsh Ministers about the arrangements he has made4;
(2) provide the Welsh Ministers with such information as he considers appropriate derived from the monitoring arranged by him5; and
(3) review the arrangements he has made and, if he thinks it appropriate, revise those arrangements6.
