Any movement within Great Britain of a live specimen of a species listed in Annex A1 from the location indicated in the import permit2 or in any certificate issued in compliance with the European Regulation3 or the European Regulation pre-exit requires prior authorisation from the management authority45. In other cases of movement, the person responsible for moving the specimen must be able, where applicable, to provide proof of the legal origin of the specimen6. Such authorisation may be granted only when the competent scientific authority7 is satisfied as to the intended accommodation
