It is an offence for a person to plant or otherwise causes to grow in the wild certain plants1 or a hybrid of such a plant2 but this does not apply in relation to any act which is an offence under the following provisions3.
It is an offence for any person on board a ship in any relevant part of the marine area4 deliberately to introduce into that area any plant of a kind having a natural range which does not include any area in Great Britain5. This does not apply6 where an introduction:
