An entitled person1 may, by giving notice to the relevant authority2 in accordance with regulations3, exclude or restrict public access4 to any land on one or more days specified in the notice5. The number of days on which any entitled person excludes or restricts public access to any land must not in any calendar year exceed the relevant maximum6. Further, an entitled person may not exclude or restrict access to any land on Christmas Day or Good Friday, or any day which is a bank holiday7.
