Where, immediately before 1 April 1984 (the 'vesting day)1, the property in an object was vested in a Minister of the Crown and the object:
(1) then formed part of the collections of the institution known as the Victoria and Albert Museum2; or
(2) was then in use in respect of the collections or solely for the purposes of the administration of the institution3,
then the property on that day became vested instead in the Board of Trustees of the Victoria and Albert Museum4. Similar provision was made for the transfer to the board of any interest in a fund
