Any moveable property vested in the trustees of the British Museum1 or the Natural History trustees2 may be transferred by one to the other3. The trustees are specified transferors and transferees for the purposes of the general powers of transfer between collections4 and for the purposes of the statutory provision for vesting of gifts to the nation where the donor has not specified a destination5.
