A member of an institution to which the Literary and Scientific Institutions Act 1854 applies1 is a person who has been admitted according to the institution's rules and regulations and has paid a subscription, or has signed the roll or list of members2.
No member is entitled to vote or to be counted a member in any proceedings if his current subscription is for the time being in arrear3.
