An object is a protected object1 if the following conditions are met when it enters the United Kingdom2. The conditions are:
(1) the object is usually kept outside the United Kingdom3;
(2) it is not owned by a person4 resident in the United Kingdom5;
(3) its import does not contravene a prohibition or restriction on the import of goods, imposed by or under any enactment6, that applies to the object, a part of it or anything it conceals7;
(4) it is brought to the United
