816. Property, finance and information in relation to the National Heritage Memorial Fund.

The Secretary of State1 must pay into the National Heritage Memorial Fund2 in the first month of each financial year3 a sum determined by him before the beginning of the year; and he may at any time pay into the fund such further sums as he may from time to time determine4. There must also be paid into the fund any other sums received by the trustees in consequence of the discharge of their functions5 or which they receive under the National Lottery6.

The trustees of the fund may accept gifts7 of money or other property8 if it is either
