1112.     Offence of dealing in tainted cultural objects.

A person1 is guilty of an offence if he dishonestly deals in2 a cultural object3 that is tainted, knowing or believing that the object is tainted4; and for these purposes, it is immaterial whether he knows or believes that the object is a cultural object5.

A cultural object is tainted if, after 30 December 20036, a person:

      (a)     from a building or structure of historical, architectural or archaeological interest where the object has at any time formed part of the building
