As soon as may be after:
(1) including1 any monument2 in the schedule of monuments3;
(2) amending the entry in the schedule relating to any monument4; or
(3) excluding any monument from the schedule5,
the Secretary of State6, as regards a monument situated in England7, must inform the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England ('the Commission')8 of the action taken, and in a case falling within head (1) or (2) above must also send to the Commission a copy of the entry or, as the case may be, of the amended entry in the schedule relating to that monument9.
