939. Liability of members of institution.

A member of an institution to which the Literary and Scientific Institutions Act 1854 applies1 may be sued by an institution if his subscription is in arrear, or for possessing himself of and detaining any of the institution's property contrary to the rules, or for injuring or destroying any such property2.
