The Secretary of State or, in relation to Wales, the Welsh Ministers1 may make grants to the Architectural Heritage Fund2. The Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England ('the Commission')3 may make grants to the fund for the purpose of enabling it to perform its functions4 in, or in relation to, England5.
A grant under these provisions may be made subject to such conditions as the Secretary of State, the Welsh Ministers or the Commission (as the case may be) may think fit to impose
