886. Finance and accounts of Board of Trustees of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

The Secretary of State1 may pay to the Board of Trustees of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew2, out of money provided by Parliament, such sums towards its expenditure as the Treasury may approve3. The payment may be made on such conditions as the Secretary of State imposes with the Treasury's approval4.

The board must keep proper accounts and proper records in relation to them5 and must prepare a statement of accounts in respect of each financial year6. The statement must give a true and fair view of the state of the board's affairs at the end of the financial year
