The National Art Collections Fund1 was formally constituted in 19032 and was incorporated by royal charter in 19283. The fund is a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and may, in its name, plead or defend an action in all courts and has power to do all things generally incidental to or appertaining to a body corporate4.
