A person1 who publishes2 in the United Kingdom3 a specified work must at his own expense deliver a copy of it to an address4 specified (generally or in a particular case) by any deposit library5 entitled to delivery under these provisions6.
The specified works are:
(1) subject to any prescribed exception, in the case of a work published in print7: (a) a book (including a pamphlet, magazine or newspaper)8; (b) a sheet of letterpress or music9; (c) a map, plan, chart or table10; and (d) a part of any such work11;
(2) in the case of a work published in
